11/26/2006 10:09:00 PM Went to Devils' bar with mum, aunts and Shaun! :D felt really cool to be let in after they checked my id.. initially din rwally dare to do much.. sat on the seat til mum told me drinkin and sitting would lead to all the fats goin to the ass! :s got up n was urged to go dance with shaun.. hahaha.. had to be literally pushed to the dance floor.. but after that it was pretty cool! :D had loadsa fun!!! mum ordered a vodka cranberry as well as wine for me.. she had whisky.. and as it was ladie's night, the gals smuggled drinks for the guys! :P at the end of it all, mum seemed to be wasted! hahahhahaha.. she was speaking utter gibberish!!! and we lost our way to the car park.. :S mum's fren swerved left n right whilst driving.. think he was jus playin along with my mum though.. nnn.... hahaa.. mum picks the most opportune time to look around.. hahahhaa... luckily she was drunk.. sent him home den i fell asleep obn the way home... was a great experience albeit the many hands randomly grabbing and caucasian guy hu stopped me on my way to get a drink and offered to buy me one.. (to whom i obviously declined).. was also taught never to say 'excuse me' in a club.. jus push! hahahhaha... On to my next experience.. first time with frens! went to Club Momo with bin(thankfully), nige, geraldine from bin's class, and her frens.. all GREAT ppl to hang around with! the gals r great fun!!!! and bin hong was a gem that friday night... he already wasn't feelin well but came anyway.. even met earlier jus to chat... waited for the rest before we embarked on the road to momo!!! once we entered (bouncer din even check my id, dammit!) hung around til the music really started thumping and before long we were ON THE DANCE FLOOR! there, i learnt a few lessons bout clubbin... and guys... even singaporean guys.. 1. Be prepared to be touched anywhere and everywhere 2. NEVER wear a skirt.. hands tend to wander where they shouldn't in the dark and noisy dance floor 3. Dirty Dancing = Guy comin behind you, holding on to ur waist, and dancing along with u whilst rubbin his *ahem* against you 4. Singaporean guys are no more conservative den the average American 5. Guys in striped shirts are usually sticky and hang around a targeted gal 6. Not to go up on a platform in previously mentioned skirt 7. HEELS = HELL 8. Ignore guys askin u to go up higher platforms to dance 9. Nigel is a hopeless protector when he's dancing :P (kiddin laaa... jus a lil.. :P:P) 10. ALWAYS have a bin hong around!!!! hahhaah.. It can be said that that night bin hong was my knight in shining armour! (he must be gagging now.. :P) hahhahaa.. shifted me from one side of him to another.. abour 4 times! to avoid all those stupid guys.. and put his arm around me to pose as a bf to deter those he sees as potential 'stickers'(guys hu inch close to the gals)... Thanks bin!!! :D saved me from the dirty dancer too!!! phew!!! nige was in a world of his own.. :P but he helped later on.. with the swatting of the hands.. so did geraldine.. thanks guys! the other gals taught me tips on dealing with that kina guy.. overall had fun!!! it lasted til 5 den we submitted to exhaustion.. but i think i lost weight (i hope.. :P) cos my white halter kept droppin! hahaha.. a gal can wish... :P cabbed home.. someone was worried.. no need to worry! i'm fine!
